Kingfisher Outfitter's Streamer

I learned about this streamer while on a trip to Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia. This fly can also be tied in rust, white, black, red, olive, or purple. It is a very effective fly for lake trout, bass, shellcrackers and bream. I tied it on a size 6 4X hook. Any streamer hook will work for it. The body materials are zonker strip, marabou, angel hair flash material, and spun deer hair. It is hard to be seen in the pictures, but sporadically throughout the fly, there is a flash from small amounts of angel hair tied the marabou. In the last picture, I showed how there is a piece of 20lb-30lb test tied off the back of the hook to keep the zonker strip from wrapping around the hook. It is hard to find a fly like this that isn't the Wooly Bugger, and works for every fish in a pond. I can't wait to test this fly on trophy trout water.
